The mandate of the Calgary Academy of Veterinary Medicine is to provide quality continuing education to veterinarians. The membership is comprised primarily of veterinarians local to the Calgary vicinity, but veterinarians from other regions are also welcomed. Academy meetings provide a forum for not only continuing education but an opportunity for case discussions, assessment of business and medical trends, and socialization with colleagues.
